What I think
Revanche was a one album project,
released in 1979 - but what an awesome album it was. The opening track "You get high in N.Y.C." was an obvious double take
on the mesmerizing effects NYC has to many, as well as the "drug-heavy" disco scene in NY.
There have been quite a
few other NY disco tunes, for instance Passion's "In New York" and "New York, you got me dancing" by Andrea True Connection.
The
other songs on the Revanche album were equally good. The album was also released on two 12" singles with the "You get high
in N.Y.C." track as well as "1979 it's dancing time" as A-side's.
No tracks by Revanche were ever released on CD.
